The Couple Next Door – Book Review

Hello!

Another book review!!

Is it sad to end a book or is it exciting because you get to start a new one?

Anyway let’s talk about The Couple Next Door.

Your neighbors told you that she didn’t want your six-month-old daughter at the dinner party. Nothing personal, she just couldn’t stand her crying.

Your husband said it would be fine. After all, you only live next door. You’ll have the baby monitor and you’ll take it in turns to go back every half hour.

Your daughter was sleeping when you checked on her last. But now, as you race up the stairs in your deathly quiet house, your worst fears are realized. She’s gone.

You’ve never had to call the police before. But now they’re in your home, and who knows what they’ll find there.

Very interesting book. First it starts and it gets to the point quit quickly, but then it feels like it slows down maybe a bit too much. But then all of the sudden a lot of things and a lot of plot twists take place at the end, and it feels like it’s way too hurried up.

I really enjoy discovering the characters in this book. They don’t have a lot of development, but it’s a joy to discover who they truly are and their secrets.

The actual storyline it’s really good and it definitely makes you want to not stop reading until the end.

This book was a gift but you can buy it on Amazon for 20.24 € (hard cover).

Would it be a good present? Absolutely! It’s in an average price range for a present and because it’s really easy to read you’re not pressuring anyone with it.

If you’re in need of a light and quick read, I’ll totally recommend you this book.

Have a great Monday. I will see you again with another post very soon!
