I’m a huge fan of Harry Potter, but I’ve never read the books. I went looking for the whole series and I found this one that comes in a box with a drawing of Hogwarts on it, and has beautiful covers on each book!
I’m sure everyone knows about Harry Potter.
Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters started dropping on the doormat and number four, private drive. Addressed in GREEN INK on yellowish parchment with a PURPLE SEAL, they are swiftly confiscated by his GRISLY aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry’s eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed GIANT of a man called RUBEUS HAGRID burst in with some ASTONISHING news: Harry Potter is a wizard and he has a place at HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY. An incredible adventure is about to begin!
The book is pure magic. It introduces you to a magic world at the same time that Harry discovers it. I love the fact that J.K. Rowling Took her time to write all the details of the book because they make you feel like you’re in it. The characters are really sweet (except Draco, of course) and they are very relatable.
The storyline is amazing. It never stops surprising you, even if you’ve seen the movies, they missed a lot of details that change the storyline little. Which is exactly why I wanted to read books.
I read this book in five days because I couldn’t put it down.
Things I loved:
- The beautiful covers
- Ron Weasley: he is different in the movies. He’s smarter in the books.
- The storyline: the parts that weren’t put in the movie are really good. They make the story more approachable.
- Details, like I said this book is very detailed which makes it easier to understand and more fascinating to read.
- Chapters, the way this book is divided it’s amazing. The chapters are called: The Vanishing Glass, Diagon Alley, The Sorting Hat, Halloween, Through The Trapdoor… this helps you put right where you should at the story.
Would I recommend this collection? Absolutely! The price is really good and they come in a box which makes everything more special. Also really good for a gift!!
