The Girl On The Train | Book Review

Hello!

Today I bring you a book review: The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins. It was a Christmas present so I don’t know the price but I’m sure it’s really affordable.

So The Girl On The Train is a global bestseller, and the movie came out in September 2016. I haven’t seen the movie but I’m really excited to!

The book is about a girl named Rachel, that has a “little” trouble with drinking. She catches the same train every morning and she always watches the same houses with the same people in them, which she thinks that they have perfect lives. Until one day when she sees something that changes everything, bringing her the opportunity to become a part of those perfect lives.

The thing I liked about this book:

  • I love the storyline with all of its twists and plots and characters.
  • I really enjoyed how the book it’s written, it’s very easy to read and to picture it in your head. Which is a must for me because I’m one of those people that prefers movies to books but not with this one, because when you read it it’s like you’re watching it. (Don’t even know if that makes sense)
  • I loved the character developing of Rachel and all the other characters, I thought it was really really interesting.

The things I didn’t like about this book:

  • It’s a page-turner. Which is definitely not a bad thing. It’s the fact that I couldn’t put the book that at night because of how much I liked it.

So this is a 10/10 book for me, that’s why I would recommend this book 100% to anyone, even if you don’t like crime, mystery style, I think you are going to enjoy this one.

Have a great Friday. I will come back with another post very soon!
